Join us at Prospect Park for weekly jams on Thursday evenings! All ages and levels are welcome - musicians will split up into groups with Slow Jams and Bluegrass Jams going on simultaneously. An audience is always welcome, too.

Bring a camping chair and/or music stand if desired. Instrument-specific Song Books are available for purchase if you want sheet music for the repertoire frequently played (inquire prior to jam so we can have it available @ info@mifolkmusic.com).

These jams are FREE & OPEN to the public, but donations of a suggested $3 are welcome and appreciated by all at Michigan Academy of Folk Music (MAFM)! A jar will be placed on a music stand by our sign.

If cancelled due to weather, a newsletter will be sent out that day by 1:00 PM.
