Join us at Prospect Park for weekly jams this summer on Thursday evenings! Musicians will split up into groups with Slow Jams and Bluegrass Jams going on simultaneously. An audience is always welcome, too.

Bring a camping chair and/or music stand if desired. Instrument-specific Song Books are available for purchase if you want sheet music for the repertoire frequently played (inquire prior to jam so we can have it available @ info@mifolkmusic.com).

These jams are FREE & OPEN to the public, but donations of a suggested $3 are welcome and appreciated by all at Michigan Academy of Folk Music (MAFM)! A jar will be placed on a music stand by our sign.

If cancelled due to weather, a newsletter will be sent out that day by 1:00 PM.
